Kristen was born and raised in Colorado Springs and graduated nursing school in 2009. She worked on a medical/surgical floor that specialized in kidney disease and diabetic crisis’ conditions at a local hospital for 4.5 years. She then followed her passion for Labor and Delivery and worked in the L&D unit for 4.5 years. Wanting to pursue more time with her children she left bedside nursing to work at home as a nurse consultant for a large insurance company.

While working for the insurance company, she developed a passion for holistic/natural care and nutrition. She incorporated her research into her personal life and saw great improvements in her own health as well as her family’s.

In the summer of 2022, she took a leap of faith and left her traditional nursing role to pursue certifications in functional diagnostic nutrition and hair analysis to follow her dream of launching her company, édenly, which provides nutrition and wellness consulting. Since launching édenly, she has already witnessed how amazing epigenetic hair analysis can be for her clients and how life changing the knowledge they gain is.
