Detox | The good, bad and ugly

Detoxification is the process the liver uses to break down and eliminate toxins and harmful substances from the body. Sometimes our liver can get overwhelmed with all the toxins it’s required to detox and can get “congested” requiring extra support. We can provide extra support through the diet or by herbal supplements which help to support the liver function to its optimum level. Foods that are great in supporting the liver are coffee, tea, grapefruit, blueberries, cranberries, grapes, beets, root veggies, cruciferous veggies, nuts/seeds, lemon, apples, garlic and onions.
