Vitamins.. what are they?
Vitamins are organic compounds that are needed to sustain the body and life. They are obtained from food due to the fact that the human body either does not produce enough of them or none at all. Vitamins play a role in the enzymatic processes of your body and a deficiency of them in your diet can cause wellness related problems. The best sources of vitamins you can get are from foods but sometimes supplementation is required too. Some examples of foods rich in vitamins are dairy, seeds/nuts, lentils, chickpeas, green vegetables, grains, red peppers, chicken, turkey, fish, beef, eggs, and apricots.
